Who Should Attend
Those involved in team/group settings in the workplace; anyone looking to overcome difficulty with team engagement specifically within mid-level and frontline management.
At work, teams perform at a higher level when engaged in a consistently applied process of collaborative engagement. Adopting such a process requires "buy-in" to understand why team leaders promote engagement, articulation of a common purpose, steps for implementing collaborative conversations and putting in action to make it work to yield positive results. In this workshop, participants will investigate the five pillars of the team engagement process. More specifically, in an organizational related approach, discussion of the drivers of what fuels participants into adapting traits of team engagement. Such aspects include trust, self-awareness, decision-making, communication, and feedback. After understanding, implanting, and cultivating the process, organizations will be better prepared to achieve enhanced team results.
Participants Will Learn How To:
- Gain knowledge of proven team engagement processes
- Comprehend the importance of each component of the team engagement process
- Understand and familiarize with teamwork characteristics and why they matter
- Apply the method of “hands-on” activities including team-based discussions
- Adopt the tools of effective collaboration
- Understand the purpose of trust, purpose, and accountability in problem-solving
- Implementation of action steps that lead to effective teamwork
- Assess and engage each individual’s process behaviors by use of a proven assessment instrument.
- Discuss results and evaluate readiness to apply process principles in work settings
