About ACFCS

The Association of Certified Financial Crimes Specialists is a leading provider of practical tools and knowledge to help professionals improve results in financial crime detection and prevention. ACFCS’s goal is to deliver resources that enable better performance in financial crime compliance, investigations, regulation, and enforcement.

Who May Enroll

This course is open to professionals with a B.A., B.S., or equivalent and select Fordham Law students (see Requirements).

Requirements

Fordham Law students who wish to take this executive education course and sit for the CFCS exam must either have completed, or be enrolled in the summer offering of, the credit-bearing class in International Financial Crimes offered by the School.

Every registrant who seeks CFCS certification must complete an ACFCS application detailing work experience and education in the area of compliance. Experience and education is translated into credits, 40 of which are required for certification. Anyone who does not have enough credits will be offered access to an ACFCS online webinar — at no extra cost — to make up the gap.

NOTE: The ACFCS application and accompanying instructions will be provided to all registrants of this executive education course. You should bring the application to class on Day 1, as some time will be devoted to answering questions and assisting with its completion.
