History Ph.D Candidate Receives Fellowship from the National Conference of British Studies
Congratulations to Louise Foroughi, whose dissertation, “What Makes a Yeoman? Status, Religion, and Material Culture in Later Medieval England,” recently earned her the 2019 Dissertation Fellowship by NACBS. Louisa also won 3rd place in the 2019 GSAS 3MT® Competition back in March.
Renaissance Society of America Finds New Home at Fordham
When the Renaissance Society of America moved to Fordham, the University established a fellowship at Renaissance Quarterly for a graduate student to get hands-on experience with academic publishing. Michael Sanders, a Ph.D. candidate in History, received the fellowship and now serves as the journals’ book reviews manager.
